Robert Donner III Memoriam

Few men are granted the fate and fortune to die doing what they lived for to die doing what they loved in the place they loved more than anything in the world. Today, such a man died in such a place in the shadow of the mountain he loved, at one with nature. Robert Donner III was a winner. He was careful and caring, and true to his family, loved people because they were alive and real no matter who they were. He raced to win, to win for himself and for those he loved. Today a deer raced with him, Darting in front of his car. We celebrate his spirit, the courage he had to live life the way he wanted, the determination to live life on the edge to the fullest, knowing that death is what life is about and that memories live forever. We loved him as much as he loved racing. We will miss him always And he will be forever in our hearts. Love, Your Family and Friends

Bobby had the greatest laugh in the world. I can still hear it. Everytime I see a hawk, I think of him.

This is such a lovely gesture. Thank you David. He was lucky to have a brother like you. This made my heart ache like it was yesterday.
