Ronald Paul Turner was born in Harlan, Kentucky on Jan.15, 1954, where he was raised by his now deceased Grandfather Bradley Turner. He tragically passed away on Nov.7, 2021 while attempting to escape a fire in his apartment building.
Ron served his country proudly, enlisting in the Army after high school, then quickly being deployed to South Korea. He later attended Pikes Peak Community College where he attained degrees in Business and Administration.
Ron loved Colorado Springs and was so happy to come back after caring for his mother Hazel (Turner) in Oklahoma City. But Colorado Springs was his 'home'.
Ron loved his friends and, of course, the Denver Broncos, but above all else he loved his sons. He leaves behind three sons, Christian Turner (Julie Stryker-Turner) of Kihei, Hi., Nicholas Turner of Milpitas, Ca., Jordan Turner of Encinitas, Ca., and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Izabella and Hendrix Turner of Kehei, Hi.
Ron will be missed by his family and friends. His memory will be cherished always.
Service/Viewing will take place November 20, 2021 at 10 am at the Return to Nature Funeral Home located at 815 E. Platte, Colorado Springs. A Celebration of Life will follow at a place to be determined.

We were in the same high school graduating class and shortly before his passing had talked about our 2023 50th class reunion. Ron was one of the sweetest kids in school with an active sense of humor. I'm so sad over this loss. Sincerest condolences to his family.

I never knew him but Georgenna and Georgetta were high school friends with Ronald. I met him this past summer in Florida at the reunion and I was a Facebook friend with Ronald! I am so sorry for the family´s loss and I really just can´t believe he is gone! Rest in Heaven Ronald!!

So sorry to see this, grew up as a neighbor to Ronnie Paul in Cranks Ky. Lived close by his grandfather and went to the same Church his grandfather pastured. Prayers for all his family and friends,
