Beloved husband, dad, grandpa/papa, uncle, friend, Stephen Woodward Pollitt passed away at his home in Colorado Springs on December 14, 2022.
Kind, gentle, sincere and fun-loving, Steve gave himself wholeheartedly to the passions in his life. Steve was both quietly and deeply sincere in his love for God and people.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, John Jr. He is survived by brother, Jim; his wife, Carol; children: Bob (Shellie) Pollitt, Greg (Charlotte) Taylor, Celise (Steve) Tabor, Kiera (Mitch) Ratcliffe, April Pollitt, Jamie Taylor, and Clay (Jody) Pollitt.
Steve had 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, 3 cousins, 3 nephews and 2 nieces, and one Air Force Academy sponsor son.
The visitation will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80919 on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00pm.
Memorial service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Church, Main Campus, in The World Prayer Center, 11025 Voyager Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.

My deepest condolences to you all. Steve was a wonderful employer who gave me the opportunity to advance myself. He was a great encourager and mentor and helped me greatly when I was a single mother trying to support three kids on my own. I truly appreciated this man of God.
