Tom,Lou and Nancy, we send our deepest sympathy to all of you. We could not attend the service for Terry as I had to go to ER for wasp stings for which I have an allergy. We watched Terry grow up as he was everyone's little brother on the block. Love and Blessings to you. Dick and Pat Gilham

I never knew Terry. I only knew his dad when he was a teen. He came to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Savior while attending Gospel meetings at a hall back in Republic, Pennsylvania, in the mid-sixties. Our lives grew far apart, especially physically. Then a few years ago we re-met and renewed our blessed friendship via Facebook. It breaks my heart that Lou has suffered the same heartbreak that I suffered with my oldest son back in 1979.
God is our Refuge and our Hope. Without Jesus Christ our lives would be meaningless. God help you, Lou and Nancy, and hold you together in His arms. I love you. Bill Hawkins

You were a special friend and I will never forget all the memories we had growing up. I will greatly miss your smile and laugh. May you find the peace you've been looking for, my friend.

Terry's love was the outdoors and climbing to the sky, higher than when I flew a single engine airplane around Colorado. He was very involved with 14ers.com. If you would like to honor Terry with a memorial donation to this wonderful organization here is where you can do it. http://www.14ers.com/support.php

Terry, you were such a great friend to me over the last ten plus years we've known each other. Though we never met in person, I considered you to be a true friend, always there for me in good times and bad. I'm so very sad you're no longer a part of this world. I wish you peace and love on the rest of your journey. I also wish peace and love to your friends and family during this most difficult time. You were a Good Man, Terry. You are loved and deeply missed!

Terry you were a main stay in our home for many years living across from your parents. Teaching me how to play sega and taking me on random 4 wheel drive trails. Bridal veil falls I will never ever forget. You laughed as I walked down the mountain cause there was no way I was goin down in that's white geo tracker!!! Gonna miss you and I know you found your peace.. Many of your climbing buddies now have a strong and watchful guardian angel!

Terry, you were a great friend with a beautiful smile that always lit up the room. The fun times we had running around the fire station and passing each other in between classes always brought a smile to me. I am so very deeply saddened to hear of your passing and will forever keep you in my heart. I still have the poem you wrote me after graduation and will continue to hold it close to my heart. May you rest in peace and know we will be missing you down here. Say hi to my Dad. Miss you Forever Terry!! Your friend always,
Tracy

I enjoyed reading Terry's posts over the years and regret never getting the chance to meet him or climb with him. I remember being happy when he completed the 14ers - he seemed like the energizer bunny to me. His life and the memory of his life will live on in those who enjoyed him in life or just from enjoying his online persona. Rest in peace Terry.

I only had the privilege of meeting Terry twice in person (we knew each other online), but I know he is, and I'll always remember him to be a phenomenally sweet person. He cared very deeply for the people in his life. He left too soon.

There will never be a time when “road trip” music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s or singing “Summer Nights” from Grease as loud and badly as possible just to drive Barbra crazy on our adventures will ever fade from my memories or my heart. Your laughter so contagious, your smile so warming and the best hugs ever. You where and always will be so very much loved my friend.

Terry always had a smile on his face. I saw him just a few short weeks ago at our class reunion he was smiling then too. You could not tell he was unhappy. It just goes to show how much a person can hide behind their smiles. I am saddened to know that he felt this was his only option. At least he is at peace now. He will be greatly missed. Prayer go out to his family and friends.
