Theodore Hackett Obituary
He was born June 10, 1937 in Wilmington, Delaware to the union of Theodore Sr. and Ernestine (Moore) Hackett. His parents preceded him in death along with his Brother Harrison Hackett, III and Sister Carol Wright.
Theodore was united in Holy Matrimony to Vickie R. (Cleckley) on October 5, 2001 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Theodore served in the United States Army for twenty years attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class. He served during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded numerous awards and medals.
He enjoyed bowling, dancing and spending quality time with his family. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, TREA, and APWU.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Vickie R. Hackett, children Tomika P Jones, Marquisha L. Hamilton, Monica T. Hackett, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm Friday February 27, 2015 at Angelus Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive. Funeral service will be at 4:00 pm, Saturday February 28, 2015 at Angelus Funeral Directors.
Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware 19701 with full Military honors.

You were like a father and best friend to me! I remember the late 70's when you walked faster than anyone, carried a keypackt computer selling insurance and loved playing the dogs at the races. I have heard your army stories 100 times, and would love to hear them again! You are a true patriot and a man of God! You have demonstrated the love that only a Christian can.
