To the family of Trudy I am heartbroken for all of
you as I have dealt with Cancer that brings attention as to how many years others are also trying to find a cure. In my research I got back to a great grandfather who died in 1911 and his death certificate said cause of death, Stomach and Liver Cancer.112 years this year and no cure for either of those yet? Generations were my ggf, gm, mother., 3 generations of heredity via my mother, her mother and her mothers father. It has to be heredity involved but I am not an expert, only adding to research for our future families. I love all of you. I read Trudy's obituary and she sounded like a very happy and ambitious woman. I wish I had met and talked to her. So sorry to the family. I will add to the research, my sister and I also had breast cancer but a different type. Her type is also significant to conquer. I have 4 daughters so I had the BRCA 1 and 2 and I am not a carrier, do not have the gene. Important. Cousin Dolly Pavlovich Ward 11/24/23

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I was blessed to have been a small part of her life and enjoyed her sense of creativity and good nature.

I knew Trudy when she was 15-17 years old in the Beverly Hills area of Chicago. I'm very sorry to hear of her very premature passing. My mother succumbed to breast cancer at an even younger age.
This was a very nice tribute. I'm glad to hear that she lived such a fruitful life.

For over 20 years, I was a frequent visitor to Hank and Trudy's delightful home. I can't count the number of wonderful dinners she prepared for us, or the good conversations we shared.
And always, her art surrounded us in all its manifestations; sewing like a pro, doll-making worthy of an art gallery, decorating and gardening.
But her greatest creations were her children, Berkeley and Morgan, who seemed to have skipped the alienated adolescent phase altogether, and sought her counsel and her comfort throughout their journey into adulthood.
Trudy's was a life well lived. We should all hope for as much.
With my deepest condolences,
Eric Williams
