Wilson "Bill" Cox Jr., 89, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on February 21, 2026.
Bill began his career in Philadelphia with Westinghouse and General Electric. He later honorably served two years in the United States Army, stationed at White Sands Missile Range and Fort Carson.
He met Doris Metcalf in 1960, and they were married in July 1962. They built their life together in Sharon Hill, PA, before settling in Colo. Spgs., CO, in 1971. Bill worked as a machinist at Jend Industries and General Machine, Inc., retiring in 1998.
A gifted mechanic and craftsman, Bill could fix or restore almost anything. He loved his garage, his cars, woodworking, and music from the 1950s, collecting records and jukeboxes.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Doris; his sons, Billy (Dorothy), Brian (Connie), and Gary (with spouse Laura); and five cherished grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and deep devotion to his family. The family will celebrate his life privately.
