Agnes Greer Obituary

Agnes Greer, 92, Babe, Ag or Aggie, to her many friends and family, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2005. The fourth of five children born to August C. and Agnes Johnson, Mrs. Greer was born on August 21, 1913, and raised in Cloquet, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, she attended St. Luke's in Duluth, Minnesota where she received her R.N. in nursing. She worked at Raiter's Hospital and later Cloquet Memorial Hospital where she rose to become Director of Central Supply. In 1964 she married Isaac G. Greer and in 1965 they moved to Colorado Springs where she retired. Generous in spirit and a true adventurer, she touched all that were fortunate to know her. She was a member of Eastern Star, Sons of Norway and the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She is survived by a sister, Margaret; a brother, Randolph; her son, Charles; three daughters: Karen, Sandra and Sue; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Since Mrs. Greer was such a great lover of dogs, memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Humane Society of your choice. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunridge Retirement Community, 5820 Flintridge Drive, Colorado Springs.
