ALFRED "GENE" EUGENE LEAF

Alfred Eugene ("Gene") Leaf passed away at home on July 11, 2021. He was born in Cripple Creek, Colorado, on December 12, 1951 to Adolf Gustov (Gust) and Florence Esther (Waters) Leaf, both of whom are deceased. Gene spent his life in Cripple Creek working for the various mining companies. Following their closure, he worked for the City of Cripple Creek.
Gene may be best known for his drum playing skills, which he lent to several local bands & dance halls over the years.
Gene is survived by four children: Douglas (Kourtney Kobrock) Leaf; Jacklyn (Anthony) Steeples; Nicole (Travis) Crawford; and Kylie Muntzert as well as five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1pm August 28th at Mt Pisgah Cemetery with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CCV Reunion Fund.
