Our dear wife and mother, Alice Pearl Lapham, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022 after a long and full life. She was very much loved and will be
deeply missed.
She was born on October 9, 1931 in Glen Daniel, West Virginia to Kenner Brooks and Inez (Richmond) Brooks. She moved to Portland, Oregon as a girl, and later settled in Black Forest, Colorado, with her husband and son in 1957. She lovingly raised her family there and was active in the local community, particularly in her involvement in the Girl Scouts and the Black Forest Homemaker's Club. She was essential in building the family's construction business in her capacity as office manager for many years until her retirement.
Alice is survived by her husband, Arthur Lapham of seventy-one years; their three children, Robert (Denise) Lapham, Brenda Lapham Wallace, and Beverly (Allen) Lapham; seven grandchildren, Brittany Lapham, Andrew Lapham, Katelyn Lapham, Teague Wallace, Taylor Wallace, Dylan Head, and Jordan Head; and four great-grandchildren, Finnley Raevsky, Bentley Lapham, Penny Mae Lapham, and Brooks Lapham.
There will be a private service with immediate family in attendance.
