Anna Gerry Obituary

Anna Marie Gerry, 81, left this world on May 11, 2016 to be with her beloved husband and best friend, John Aaron Gerry, who preceded her in death (2004). She was born on April 11, 1935 to Dominic & Mildred Dallafior in Crystal Falls, Michigan, youngest of four children. She married Johnny on August 8, 1953 in Crystal Falls, Michigan. Anna devoted her life to not only Johnny and supporting his career as an Air Force officer, but to her children, family & friends.

Anna is survived by her six children, daughters Jonna Leigh Gerry, Jami Lynne Buckhouse & her husband Jim, Pegge Dawn Gerry, Tammi Rae Rabik, Valeri Jean Hirst & her husband Greg and by their son John Douglas Gerry, as well as 15 grandchildren, preceded in death by her oldest grandson (2016). She is also survived, loved and adored by her many great-grandchildren who called her Nona.

Anna is retired from ENT Federal Credit Union. She loved to ski and play golf. Her biggest enjoyment was being with her family and many friends, she had a special gift of giving a piece of her heart to all she met, making each and every person feel like the only one in the world. She loved going back to their hometown of Amasa, Michigan each summer for a couple months and spending time with family and childhood friends. She also loved going to casinos and her longtime hobby was stamping.

Services are 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Drive.
