Barbara Dines Obituary

On Saint Patrick's Day we ( her dear girlfriends from Friends To Go) raised a glass to remember sweet Barb Dines. We miss her to this day with much love.

Dear Tom, Megan and Katie,

Learned of your wife/mother's passing through Rotary and, of course, was sadly shocked. I recall talking with Barbara (it seems like yesterday) and her joyful and enthusiastic descriptions of "the latest" in your lives. What a proud mother! and wife!!

Don't want to miss her service here.

Barbara is missed by so many. I know her family and friends are having a hard time realizing she's gone. Her down to earth approach to life and her wonderful sense of humor gave me a lift just to be around her and I do miss my friend.

Tom, Katie, and Megan, words cannot describe how sorry we are for your loss....Barb was such a firecracker and she will be sorely missed! It was an honor to have her in our lives, and we are so grateful to have spent time with her recently. Little did we know when we said goodbye that we would never see her again! She loved her family, her many wonderful friends, her life, and the sunsets of Marco Island! We will never stop missing her.

Barbara - just one week ago you suddenly left us...much too soon. Your vibrant smile will never be forgotten. My fond memories are with you shopping in the flea market and your love of life and the devotion you showed to your beloved Tom. Last time I saw you was at the Marco Bay Yacht Club dinner for new members where you and Tom were introduced to the Marco Bay Yacht Club membership. Lori and I are so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. We loved her and her gracious, caring spirit. She has truly left all of us much too soon, and will be missed. We send our sincere condolences to the entire family.

Im so sorry to hear of your loss. I always enjoyed seeing her and catching up with her life and family.

Our dear friend Barbara was a pleasure to be with regularly in our Newcomers adventures and events. We always laughed and enjoyed our times together and shared lots of things in our personal lives. It is such a shock that she is gone, but she will never be forgotten. Goodbye dear friend.

My most valued memory of Barbara is her empathy with those for whom health or circumstances made life difficult. Her fun-loving and joyful nature was known by all. Her friends from AAUW and Newcomers will miss her very much. I am glad I knew her. AAUW Marco Island Branch will make a donation to the Eleanor Roosevelt AAUW Fund in Barbara's memory.

You have my most heartfelt sympathy. It was always a joy to just be in Barbara's company. I loved her like a sister, as did so many of us in her Newcomers group.
I will miss her forever.
