Barbara Terry Obituary

Barbara was born in Chicago, IL and spent most of her life in the Chicago area. She met and married her lifelong husband, a retired marine and World War II veteran, in 1955 and started a family of three sons. She remained committed to her family and eventually moved to California to be near her sons. She's lived in Pleasanton for the last 22 years, and has worked at several downtown shops and has been very active in the Pleasanton Newcomers Club.
Barbara is survived by her three sons Bill, Steve, and Scott; and their grandchildren Max, Anna, Serena, Trevor, and Brian. She is also survived by her brother Robert. Her compassion for everyone in her life will be missed by all that knew her.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 5:00pm at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 7421 Amarillo Road in Dublin, CA. This will be followed by a reception at the Cellar Door Wine Bar at 4469 Railroad Ave in Pleasanton, CA.
