Brett Rusnak Obituary

Brett was always such an amazing friend. He never had trouble putting a smile on our faces during class. The poor guy had to put up with me in every single class our 8th grade year, but I wouldn't trade a single moment of our time together. Brett's loss is one that is felt by many of his classmates. We are all keeping the Rusnak family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Bob, Barb, Bobby, and Marilyn,
My deepest thoughts and prayers to you. Brett was "my" student and part of my life. He was such a great young man, and even though my subject was not his favorite he still respected and found a way to contribute to our class. He would always give me a few digs as I am a Democrat and we all know HE was a Republican. I am so saddned with the loss of this young man and his future that could have been. Thoughts and prayers for everyone during this most difficult time. I will never know the loss of a child, and my heart breaks. Not sure what I can do for you, but I can pray and send my love.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Brett. I am saddened and my heart is broken to hear this news. Brett was in my preschool class at the Air Force Academy and he was such a joy to have in class. I have very fond memories of him, and remember honoring his request of me getting him cowboy boots for his 4th birthday :) I send my condolences and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Rusnak family, we are so shocked and sadden to hear of your loss. I knew both Bobby and Brett when they attended the Air Force Child Development Center so many years ago . I never knew Brett, my very good friend Brad Morris asked that our men's group lift Brett and family up in prayer to our Lord. It is such a loss to have someone so young lost to this world -- but for the Christ follower that has received the Holy Spirit we can only wonder in awe and amazement the table that is set before Brett as we grieve his loss. Brett was the only person who spoke to me without hesitation, way back in middle school when I didn't speak and hid behind glasses and headgear. I can't even tell you how many times we were hushed in that old science class, but I've remembered the laughs and note passing all these years. I'm so grateful for him, to him-- I really, really am. He was and has always been a genuinely good guy-- the kind people never forget. I sure won't.
