Having valiantly fought the good fight and surrounded by love, Bryan Hoit entered heaven on March 13, 2025.

Bryan was born on April 30, 1987, and adopted by his parents, Glenn and Terry, soon after. His sister, Megan, joined the family in 1991. He and his family spent summers traveling the United States, camping and exploring new places. A Colorado native, he grew up in Colorado Springs, graduating from Air Academy High School in 2006. After graduating from WyoTech, he returned to Colorado Springs and worked as a custodian at Air Academy High School for over 14 years.

The adjective "loyal" best describes Bryan. He was loyal to his family and enjoyed spending free time with them. He took special joy planning adventures with his niece Payton and nephews Camden and Hudson. Whether it was blowing bubbles or teaching them to fish, Bryan treasured this time together. Along with his sister and her family, Bryan also loved his extended family. During his illness, he often remarked how blessed he was by having a family who loved and supported him.

Bryan was a loyal worker and employee. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he formed at Air Academy. He especially loved his work on the athletic fields.

When not at work, Bryan continued to love being outside. Camping, fishing and hiking with his dog, Aurora, were favorite activities. Bryan was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan and rarely missed watching a game.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Dottie Boulter and Gene Wilson, along with his father, Glenn Hoit. He leaves behind to treasure his memory his mother, Terry Hoit, Grandmother Marilyn Wilson, his sister Megan Hoit-Evans and her husband Christian, along with their children Payton, Camden and Hudson. Additionally, he leaves his aunts Tammie Boulter (Brad Bailey), Trudy Boulter (Pat Hynes), uncles Greg Hoit (Sue), Eric Hoit, and Darin Wilson (Jessica), along with many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 219 East Bijou, on March 31, 2025, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in his name can be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. (curesarcoma.org)

My sincere condolences to all. I will remember him in many ways but especially his 'all in' dedication in every and any situation. He never did anything half-heartedly, including shenanigans! His head back hearty laugh and absolute dedication to everything about life will never leave my memory. Thank you Bryan. I will miss you.

Terry and Family-
Words can´t express my sorrow for you all. I do know that the joyful words Terry always shared about her precious children showed a deep compassion and love for them.
May God comfort you all in a blanket of peace and love! Hugs!
