I will forever cherish the fond memories and brotherly love Charles and I established during my time as staff chaplain with the Gospel Congregation at Fort Carson. Once again God saw the road was getting rough, and the road of life had become too hard to for CSM Charles Bell, USASMA Class 22 to travel and called him home. You remind us, Lord, through Solomon that to everything there is a season. We thank You for the earthly life You gave to this sergeant major and for the blessing during the sojourn here on the earth. We most especially thank You for the new life You granted this sergeant major in Jesus Christ. He broke the bonds of death by His resurrection. We rejoice at the hope of being reunited with him in the resurrection of all flesh. The NCO Corps thanks him for his selfless service act and his willingness to defend of America and all that we hold sacred. I believe for every fallen sergeant major like him there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift God has given the Corps. Rest easy, sleep well my brother. Know the line was held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell

To Sister Sylvia and the Brown family, words cannot express the sadness we have felt and share with you in the passing of such a wonderful, caring, humble, witty, wise Man of God. Brother/Deacon Brown was the extended hands and heart of God that touched every life he came in contact with. Deacon Brown was a mentor and a friend that our family loved and respected. He was a man of Integrity whom we will sorely miss. RIP Man of God/Humble Servant. Brown family we love you and we are praying God's comfort upon you. Prayerfully,

You exemplify the phrase, soldier in the Army of God. What you have done on this earth cannot be replaced but will be missed! The kind words, the guidance, shared experiences, and most of all your LOVE for God and God's people. Rest in Peace Brother Brown.

Brother Charlie.....you have been a great Christian Warriors in God's Army. You have use all the weapons system that God gave you (Prayers, Bible Study, and Sunday School) to strengthen the warriors you lead. Whether it was at Prussman Chapel, in your community, or while meeting newly arriving Soldiers on Fort Carson your servant attitude was notice. You provided me and my family wise counsel, and what God expect from his leaders and family. You will truly be missed, but God and our Lord-Jesus Christ will be getting a battle-tested Christian leader. You also provided that same leadership while serving your country for 30 years of faithful service which is absolutely outstanding. God Bless and we will see you in GLORY. Hooah!!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Charlie was not only a good friend to us but became very close to several of the men in our neighborhood. He is a special brother in Christ and will be missed by all in the neighborhood.

My Brother,My mentor,My Friend, and Prayer Warrior...during midday prayer there was a long silence and we realized that you weren't there ....it was sad...you left an inheritance of wisdom knowledge and understanding of the WORD...you are already missed...we agreed that when you got home you heard those words we all hope to hear...Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant...Brown Family you will always be in my Prayers..I Pray Holy Spirit wrap your arms around this family give them comfort healing and peace in abundance in the name of JESUS

We were SO blessed to have met you, during the short time we were stationed at Ft. Carson. Your Bible Studies were challenging and inspiring, your spirit loving and welcoming. You were a true, loyal Berean. Until we meet again...

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell[b] with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more;mourning and crying and pain will be no more,for the first things have passed away.

We love you and miss you much. You taught us the Word of God, you lived by example, you served faithfully. You are singing in the Heavenly choir now and rejoicing with the angels. Til we meet again.

Brother Charlie, your teachings about God's word will forever be in our hearts. You will truely be missed. We send prayers and blessings to your family.

Thank you Brother Brown for being a soldier in God's Army! Well done, good and faithful servant! Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Rev 14:13 NIV. Today we mourn the loss of our friend. Nevertheless, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil. God bless you Brother Brown and may the Lord give peace and comfort to Sylvia and the Brown Family. We will miss you on earth and will celebrate and rejoice with you when we get to heaven.
