Dallas was a wonderful man. I will never forget his kind words and big hugs when I was a child. He took my family in as one of his, especially when my mother really needed them. I thank God for sending Dallas and his family in our families direction. I have found memories with Dallas and his family as I grew up. He was the grandfather I never had. The world has lost a special, loveable and respectible man that heaven has gained. Dallas I will never forget you. R.I.P.

We have truly lost a great man. Dallas was an icon in my life and I will remember him forever. Thank you Dallas for being there when I was a child and helping out my Mother in the time of need. We will truly miss you and continue to root on your "Rockies" when they aren't playing our "Diamondbacks". We love you!!

I met Dallas and his wonderful family nearly 37 years ago after my youngest daughter was born. My babysitter had quit and I had just started a new job at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He volunteered his daughter, Nedra, who was out of school at the time to help me. She took my daughter to her mother as my baby was quite young. We developed a life-long friendship with the Hansard family. My four daughters and I count their family as God's angels to us. My four daughters knew them as fill in grandparents who did an excellent job.

We were fortunate enough to see Dallas and Yvonne in July 2006 on our way from Phoenix to Wyoming. And I thank God that we got to see them.

In all the years I knew Dallas he was a wonderful, wonderful gentleman. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers go out to his family.
