Donald Lee Wilson
June 12, 1947 - October 9, 2017
Donald Lee Wilson was born in Gardner, Kansas on June 12, 1947, to John L. Wilson and Helen Geraldine (Kueker) Wilson. He passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 in Farmington, New Mexico, after a long illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Liliane Wilson of Aztec, New Mexico, son Travis, daughters: Brooke and Heather and 2 grandchildren; his mother, Jerry, sister, Twila, and brother John Wilson. He is preceded in death by his father, John L. Wilson.
Don grew up in Security, Colorado, and graduated from Widefield High School in 1965, where he was known as "Tree".
Don was a heavy equipment operator and traveled the country on various construction projects. He and Liliane have lived outside of Aztec New Mexico for many years. He will be missed by all that knew him. He's most likely now in heaven partying with Gary Frazee, Eddie Bynum, and Larry Snow.
No service is planned. Don will be cremated, and ashes spread at some future time. Condolences, and remembrances can be left on-line at Farmington Funeral Home, www.farmingtonfuneral.com. Contributions to the family (Liliane Wilson) can be left in lieu of flowers.
