Dorothy Binns Obituary

March 6, 1916 - June 3, 2008. Dorothy June Binns, 92, of Buena Vista, Colorado and formerly Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully in her home on June 3, 2008. Dorothy June Binns was born on March 6, 1916 in Salida, Colorado to Estes Scott and Ann Katherine (nee Keegan) Wright. June married Allison K. Binns on August 10, 1935 in Center, Colorado. June was a much beloved wife and devoted mother. Together with Al she co-founded the Three Thieves Restaurant. June is survived by her daughter Sharon Kay Binder (husband Jerry); her son Herbert Binns (wife Angela), ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and her sister Geraldine E. Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband Allison K. Binns and their son Ken Binns. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. A private entombment will be in the Alcove of Grace at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum. Blessed be her memory.
