Duane Anderson Obituary

Duane Anderson of Milaca, MN, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016, at the age of 65.

Duane Anderson was born on November 12, 1950, in Marshall, MN, the son of Donovan and Martha Anderson. He lived in Colorado Springs, CO, for over 20 years before returning to Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Diekmann on July 4, 2005 at their home in Milaca. Duane loved to golf, played softball for many years and enjoyed hunting. He was an avid sports fan; he cheered on the Superbowl Champion Broncos, Yankees, and Avalanche. Duane enjoyed working in his yard, mowing lawn, woodworking and visiting with friends. He loved joking and having fun. Most of all, he adored his grandchildren.

Duane is survived by his wife Charlotte; children, Dan (Christina) Anderson and Kelly (fiancé Matthew Spieker) Anderson; step-daughter Christine Diekmann; grandchildren, Rebecca Anderson, Shad and Breanna Rosenau; siblings, Sylvia (Carl) Iverson, Wendell (Betty) Anderson, Gary Anderson and David Anderson; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
