Earl and I served together in Wiesbaden, Germany 64-66. We both were transferred to the Springs area in 66. Friends then, I miss him now. Was terribly saddened to see his name when I came back to the Springs. He was a good man.

Evelyn, I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Earl was such a good man. His legacy will live on. I'll never forget how he tried to help me and my family as a young newly married couple many years ago. May God continue to bless you and your family and give you strength during these difficult days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Evelyn and Family,

This message is from Aaron's neice Doris Traynum-Horton. I just wanted to extend my sympathy to you all. We (my sisters and brother) were sadden by the news of his passing. From the messages that I've read it appears that Uncle Earl was a outstanding person and well respected. I only wish that I had the opportunity to establish a closer relationship with him. Please send me a letter via email when you have the time.

Much Love,

Doris Traynum-Horton

Earl and I became friends when we were roommates at Roslyn AFB,NY in the winter of 1950. Although we chose different career paths, divine destiny guided us to enjoy timely reunions over the years. After 1951, Earl and I were only in the presence of each other twice: in 1968 and last in 2003.

I shall treasure our 2003 conclave with Evelyn his wife, and daughter Venicia even more now, with the knowledge that it will never again be.

Earl I’ll miss you Good Buddy, and may you rest in peace with God.

Farewell Friend. I will always have the memories of our friendship and the "fun times" we shared. Whose going to do my insurance now? Thanks for the annuity. My sincere condolences to the Miner Family. The community has lost a great man.

I will always remember Earl as the gentle man who warmed his hat at the fireplace inside Church for All Nations in-between arrivals. He held the door, held out his hand and warmed the heart of any who had the great blessing of meeting him there. Evelyn, may you experience abundant peace, we will all miss Sweet Earl.

Evelyn, I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your beloved husband Earl. Earl was a man of gentleness, pride and a credit to this community. I'm very proud to say that I knew him as a friend, employer and volunteer mate at SVAT. Colorado Springs is a better place for all of us due to the many hours of volunteer dedication that Earl donated.

"The twinkle in his soft eyes will look down on us as a quite shinning star of grace and honor. Just glace at the night Colorado sky and choose a star - Earl Minor will smile back"
