Earline Tolbert Obituary

Earline Veronica Tolbert passed on December 30, 2005. She succumbed at home after a long battle with breast cancer. Earline was born of the sweet union of Pauline and J.C. Wise on June 15, 1945 in Alexander City, AL. Four children survive her: Jesse, Tolonda, Michael and Tony; as well as their father, Luther Tolbert, Jr. She will also be greatly missed by six beautiful grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Pauline Wise; her brother, Jimmy Townsend and her long-time companion Willie Franklin. Before retiring, Earline had worked at Hewlett Packard for 23 years. Earline opened may hearts with her contagious smile, bright personality and fierce independence. She loved being with her grandchildren; studying the bible, traveling and inspiring people to be their best. She will be greatly missed as a mother, companion and friend to all who knew her. Viewing to be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4th at Angelus Chapel, 2535 Airport Road. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5th at the True Spirit Baptist Church, 5120 Astrozon Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please make In Memory donations for breast cancer research to her fundraising page: http://www.active.com/donate/ucccgifts/EarlineTolbert or mail a check in her memory payable to: University of Colorado Foundation, c/o Libby Printz, Mail Stop 8111, P.O. I worked with Earline for many years at Agilent/HP. I enjoyed her

beautiful smile and never ending laughter.

I use to tease Earline because of her initials and often told her" ET phone home". Well, Earline phoned home one last time and our Heavenly Father answered her call and took her home forever.
