Edward Yelvington, 67, passed away on December 16, 2023, in Colorado Springs, CO. He will be remembered for his fun-loving, infectious humor and his kind and giving heart.
Edward is survived by his wife, Roberta (Bobbie), his daughter Jessica DeKrey (Benji), his daughter Roxanne Yelvington (Louis), his step-father Clayton Schuler, his nephew Jeffrey Steele (Jason), and his sister Sharon Huff (Rod). He was preceded in death by his mother Isabel Schuler, his father Marion Yelvington, and his sister Patricia Pagan.
Edward retired from Falcon School District 49 after about 25 years of faithful service. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force.
In his free time, Edward enjoyed photography, fishing, stained glass art, and drawing.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2023, at 3PM in the District 49 Warehouse located at 10850 East Woodmen Road, Peyton, CO 80831.
In lieu of flowers, Ed's family encourages anyone who can to plant a spring flower garden.
Rest in peace, Edward Yelvington. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.

Ed was a fun-loving and humorous guy, He was always making people laugh with his quirkiness and humor. He had compassion for his fellow man and would be there to help anyone in need. He was a fun Uncle and a great friend. I will miss him a lot.

Our Deepest Condolences to his family! ED was one of the most beautiful soul's we have ever met in our line of work such a kind and generous man. He would light up the store every time he came in with songs, jokes and just great conversation no matter the day! He will be deeply missed by all of us at Paul's! But Forever Live In Our Hearts!
