The world will be a sadder place without Uncle Ernie in it. He was the Best and most Awesome Uncle. He had the greatest smile and laugh. He was just fun to be around. He was great to talk to, he would listen and share stories about his life and family, and give advice when you asked him. Whenever he and Aunt Stella would come to San Antonio, Aunt Stella would call to set up lunch or dinner either with the Aleman family, just me and/or my kids. He liked to go to Garcias or Las Caretas. He liked to order breakfast or carne guisada. We would often times try new places and I had a few I was planning to take him and Aunt Stella to the next time they came down. Sometimes, we'd just BBQ at my house. I'll really miss that! My heart is just broken that he won't be around anymore!! May God give Aunt Stella, my wonderful cousins, and all of us that loved him the strength and courage to go on without him until we're all together again in heaven. Love, Gloria, Chris, Kristen and Travis.

The loss of this wonderful man cannot be expressed in any words. He was such a great man, flawless!! No one could say anything negative about him, just that he was always smiling, funny, huggable and simply adorable, his personality was exquisite. Why God wanted such a lovable man, I can't figure out, its unbelievable to imagine life without him. Aunt Stella and all my cousins, live, love, always remember how valuable life is and that "Dad" is always with you in your heart. The hardest part is moving on. As a family, we unite and are always here for one another to lend an ear, a hug or just cherish our memories together. With our deepest sympathy, Norma Jean And Michael Anthony.
