Ethan Henry Haile, 32, of Colo Spgs, tragically took his life 22 April 2025. Born 27 May 1992, twin sister in tow, Ethan never did things by halves. He spent his life in Colorado Springs, attending St. Mary's HS, where he found a passion for forensics and theater. After graduating, he coached the former and served as resident set MacGyver for the latter.
An avid outdoorsman, Ethan achieved Eagle Scout and took every chance to maintain the trails he loved. In the last decade, he did 30+ backpacking trips in Colorado. He could clean and shoot any firearm you gave him, including a bow.
Ethan took great pride in his work, becoming assistant chemist a local chrome plant, and could tell you the contents of any tanker on the highway. More recently, he could also tell you the make, model, trim, and value of any personal vehicle you saw.
A self-proclaimed nerd, Ethan loved video and tabletop gaming, and had begun making magic click-clack rocks to augment his own 70+ dice sets. He planned to hand them out as trinkets at Ren Faire, where he played a kilted pirate named Sir Ten and flew the banner of his favorite band, The Craic Show. His other interests included Lego sets, metal and heavy medival music, leather and woodworking, and playing with his cats. When you think of him, always remember, "if you think you've added enough cheese, add more cheese." And may the Craic be with you.
Ethan is survived by his twin sister Rebecca (Kevin), older sister Liz (Curtis), younger sister Christina (Francisco), father Matt, mother Judy, and many dear friends.
A Catholic Mass will be held at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Colorado Springs at 1pm on 7 June. Ethan's Celebration of Life will be held 8 June at 1pm at Bear Creek Regional Park East, Pavilion 7. I now Ethan form highschool and I am best friends with his sister. I am at a lost for words. He was a great friend, forensic team mate and more. My only regret is not talking to him more as an adult. I am shattered that he is gone.

Ethan was my first love, and my heart is completely shattered by the fact that he is gone. We hadn´t spoken for many years, and I truly regret that because I had no idea the kind of pain he was in. Our relationship was young love, and I will never forget how much love and passion he had to give, to me and to everything he did. I sincerely hope and pray he is resting in peace now, and I will miss him forever.
