Eva Freeman Obituary

Eva Juanita Freeman, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born August 12, 1933 in Boston, MA to Eva Jane and Mack Robert Maybin.

She grew up in Readville, MA, and attended school in Hyde Park, MA, Colorado University, in Colorado Springs, CO.

She married Kerlin (Ray) Freeman, Jr. in 1952, and had three children, Les, Beverly and Alan.

After retirement, she enjoyed many winters in the Foothills and the Desert Lily Quilters, traveling by RV throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Juanita is survived by her husband Ray, daughter Beverly (Tim) Valdez, Alan (Kathleen), five grandchildren, Christina, Vincent, Chelsea, Sarah, and Michael.

She was preceded in death by her son Leslie, and by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 25, 2:00pm at St. Raphael's Episcopal Church, Security, Colorado. Private Cremation is being handled by Desert Valley Mortuary & Crematory.
