Eva Weingartner Obituary

Eva Maria Weingartner was born 10 December 1929 in Karshurle, Germany to Arthur and Emma Wagner, one of three children with her brothers, Dieter and Wolfgang. She passed away 9 December 2011 with loved ones by her side. She is survived by her son, Bernhard (Doris); three granddaughters, Tammy Bean, Donna Gibert and Scarlett Falk; twelve great-grandchildren and her brothers, Dieter ( Annamarie ) Weingartner and Wolfgang Weingartner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Etoise; her son, Ralph and both of her parents. Eva attended Business College and Berlitz School in Germany. She met and married the love of her life in February 1948. After multiple tours in the military, they settled in Colorado Springs, where she continued to work for the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) as Food Manager and retired after 32 years of service. Eva and Etoise enjoyed spending quality time travelling and were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Services will be held Wednesday, 14 December 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 105 Pine Avenue, Colorado Springs. Visitation will be Tuesday 13 December 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs and Wednesday 14 December 2011 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Pine Avenue prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary Fund Broadmoor Ward.
