My thoughts are with you all and I miss seeing everyone. I'm very sorry for your loss. I will always remember those great feasts that "cousin" Evelyn would have at that great house on the prairie when we were kids and actually had some family reunions. The latest was when we visited with grandma Lucille, and I could not believe how great the food tasted that night. I loved the velvet feel of the noses on the horses, and the sounds of the chickens, and barking of the pups, and the rustling of the wind over the hay fields. Just think Evelyn and George got to hear those sounds everyday while we were hearing traffic noise and city refuse connected with dealing with too many problems of too many people. Evelyn was soft spoken and raised a fantastic family. I will miss that piece of our lives.

Sending our sincere sympathy. We will miss our telephone chats. If needing to recall any information about our family or in the community, would always call Evelyn. She was a history book. Our thoughts and prayers to George and his families.

Dear Family,

I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom. Going to the farm was my favorite Sunday adventure. She taught me how to get eggs, feed the guinea hens and best of all, find kittens in the barn. As I got older, I could only stand in awe of her stamina and talent in so many areas.
I know we will all miss her and can only be comforted by knowing she is welcomed in heaven to live pain-free forever.
