As the oldest member of the Saturday Knights hiking group, Frank enjoyed many memorable hikes and made many contributions. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful Saturday Knights who were so good to him; they would also like to thank all of Frank's good friends at Grace Church, especially Deacon Sally Ziegler, and his friends at Colorado College. I wish I had searched for Frank long before this...I moved from New Jersey in 1974 to the foothills west of Denver. I am the grandson of Edwin Hammond Godfrey and his wife Augusta Wells Godfrey, so I have many fond memories of Frank Sr. And Evelyn (great aunt and uncle of mine). My mother’s (Marilyn) sister Virginia told me before she passed away that Frank Jr. was somewhere in Colorado Springs, and had done some family tree work on our clan.
