George Noble Obituary

George Edgar Noble 82 of Colorado Springs passed away May 20, 2016. George was born on June 25, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1955 with a B.A. in Anthropology.

He served in the U.S. Army for 12 years. George married his wife Marti in January of 1955.

He is survived by his wife, children, Vickie (Richard) Rasmussen, Dale (Lee) Noble and Rene' Perry as well four grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Marti, Thank you for sharing George with us for all the years we were in the Pikes Peak Chapter together. He shared his love and knowledge of archaeology with us all. The well-used trowel he carried in his back pocket was a badge of honor. We miss him.
