Glen Bean Obituary
The smell of saw dust and grease, showed us all how to work hard for a living. A great professional and good dad gave a name to be proud to belong to.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald Leroy Bean and son, Bruce Edward Bean.
Survivors, loving wife, Lynda Bean, son, Daniel (Paula) Bean, daughter, Donna Kay (Charlie) Baros, sisters, Juanita Marshall, Beverly Goodridge, Sharyn Cole, eleven grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, daughter in law, Gina Bean.
Pallbearers will be Kevin DePriest, Nathan Bean, Shane Cheek, David Hall, Drew Kinnear and Terrance Hawkins.
Graveside Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Walnut Bottoms Cemetery in Paron.
Visitation will be at Ashbys, Friday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Lynda, You taught Caleb 20 years ago at FUMC in NLR. You were an amazing teacher and we have never forgotten your love and care for Caleb. He came to you after an abusive stay at another day care. There was a time when he locked himself in the bathroom because the zoo brought a snake to the class. You had to call me to come get him. You were amazing with him and we appreciate you so much for loving him through such a difficult and important time in his life. We were so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. Our prayers are with you and all who loved him.
