Howard Baumgartel Obituary
John graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1966. John went on to University of Michigan, where he obtained his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Union Carbide before moving to Santa Fe, NM, where he started M&E Engineering.
John's love of life was evident in everything he did. His most special memories were sailing on his beloved Higgins Lake, MI, and fly-fishing at the family cabin on the Tarryall River, near Lake George, CO.
John shared all that he loved with those he loved unselfishly. His family hopes you will consider a donation in John's memory to the Colorado Sierra Club or to the Higgins Lake Foundation, Michigan.
John's memorial will be held October 25th at 3:30pm, at St. John's College, Santa Fe, NM.
