Jay, Mary, grandchildren Jay Paul and Hollie Marie, brother Raymond, Judy, Gary, Kate, Chris and Tim:
May Peace be with you all at this time of loss.
Irene left a lasting impression on everyone she touched in her many kindnesses to Veterans, Patriots and their families who came to Chapter 423, Military Order of the Purple Heart. These many gifts will be long treasured by these members who miss her greatly.
To give the gift of unconditional love is the greatest blessing -- we are all so very thankful for Irene's love to our members.
The Ladies Auxiliary, Military Order of the Purple Heart join the Patriots of MOPH Chapter 423 in prayers of thanksgiving for this most treasured member.
May we always keep her in our hearts remembering how she showed us how "in giving - that we receive" - Peace to you all.

Dear Mary, Jay and family,
This is like the end of an era. Irene was such a neat lady--always an adventurer! I know she will be missed, but is reunited with Jay. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Just saw this today, so I'm sorry I didn't make the visitation and rosary.
