On August 29, 2018, Isabelle Ann Baird went to Heaven to the waiting arms of her beloved husband, Jack. She was three days shy of her 87th birthday. Isabelle was born in Numa, Iowa on September 1, 1931 to Jim and Ruth Hasty. Isabelle graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1948.
She married Jack Baird on November 25, 1951. Isabelle was a housewife and also worked at Sears for over 20 years.
Isabelle received the Lord as her Saviour as a young girl. She attended both Southside Bible Chapel and, at the time of her death, was attending Northeast Bible Chapel.
Isabelle is survived by her sons, Jim (Karen)Baird and Mike (Caroline) Baird. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Sara (Andy) Bogen, Capt. Kaitlin Baird, Connor Baird, Kara Baird, and one great-granddaughter. Quinn Bogen.
Private burial will be on Friday, Sept. 14th at Evergreen Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, Sept. 15th at 10:30 am at Northeast Bible Chapel, 1722 McArthur Colo Sp. Colo 80909.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Elim or Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care.
