Jim, 77, passed peacefully in his sleep. He spent his youth in Detroit, joined the U.S. Marines, is a long-time resident of Colorado Springs. As a proud Marine, LCpl James H. Ballweg saw action in Vietnam. Jim retired LaFarge (Concrete Teamster Truck Driver). In retirement, Jim provided an amazing home to many older/rescue dogs. "Grandpa Jim" is survived by sisters Shannon Richards(Maureen), Sue Page(MaryLou), a son, 7 nieces/nephews, 16 grandnieces/nephews, and bonus family Tammy(Matthew), Ashley(Lesley), Justin "Dusty"(Logan & Lizzie) McCullough and Bailey. Services are as follows:
