One of my first buddies after we moved to Colorado Springs the summer of 1966. Horace Mann Junior High that fall, and on through Wasson High school (class of 72). We spent countless hours together in those early years, mostly talking about motor cycles and our plans for the future. We dreamed about building a canoe from scratch and taking it to Alaska. Jim came to my 50th birthday party the summer of 2004 and we continued to be e-mail buddies after his work took him to New Mexico. You will be missed brother, but you are in a better place…….now you can finally take that canoe trip.

Jack and I have many wonderful memories of Jim. We were neighbors when our children were young and continued that friendship as we moved in different directions in life. He was a generous man and a gentle soul. Jim, we miss you and will always hold you dear to our hearts.

Few people are found to have such a positive attitude as Jim. Always giving, never wanting. My long time friend will be greatly missed by myself, my family and everyone who had the pleasure to know Jim.

Jim, what an incredible man. He was such an amazing and loyal friend. He was a big part of our family and my dad's best friend. He, Sky Brown, Uncle Pat and Dad were quite the group of guys! I am really sad to see him go. We are gonna miss you so much Jim! I can't make it to the memorial service for him, but my heart and prayers go out to the family... my love and deep respect for him will stick with me forever. Gonna miss you "Jungle" Jim! <3

Jim was a great friend indeed. We were friends since high school and many of us hung out after high school as well. I remember many great motorcycle rides we were able to enjoy and all of the phone conversations Jim and I had over the years. You are truly missed friend and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Jim will be missed by many of us. He was great guy and was my friend from the time we met in high school until his untimely passing. Jim was an avid motorcyclist and rode extensively, including a cross country trip from Colorado Springs to the Oregon coast with me back in 1977. You are missed brother, rest in peace.

Jim will be missed by all. He was both a great friend and brother-in-law. We had some good times together both at HP and outside work.
