Obituary for Raymond Arthur Stackpoole
In loving memory of Raymond Arthur Stackpoole, who was born on August 14, 1962 in Batavia, New York, and passed away on February 12, 2026. He is survived by three brothers: Kenneth Philip, Harvey Martin, and David Michael. He was predeceased by his sister Diana Lynn, and both his parents, Harvey Martin and Diana Carmen.
Raymond also leaves behind his previous wife, Joan Heiser Stackpoole, with whom he remained close until the end. He graduated from Brandon, FL High School and Florida State University.
Raymond served in the United States Marines, participated in Desert Shield/Desert Storm where he was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal with V for Valor and a Combat Action Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon w/3 stars, Good Conduct Medal w/2 stars, Letter of Appreciation 2nd Award, Overseas Service Ribbon w/1 star, National Defense Service Medal, Southeast Asia Service Medal w/2 stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal with One Gold Star, and Navy Unit Commendation. He was discharged honorably after 11 years of service.
In his later years, he traveled the world, visiting Southeast Asia and South America, and made Boqueron, Puerto Rico his final home.
A memorial will be held on April 25, 2:30-5:00pm at Brandon's Event Space, 137 S. Parsons Ave, Brandon, FL.
