James Ferguson Obituary

In the presence of his family at his home in Cave Creek, Arizona, his spirit soared to heaven, leaving his broken body behind. He was born on Nov 7th 1939 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He received a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and a M.Sc. in Computer Science Technology from Trinity College, Dublin. In 1967 he emigrated with his wife and three children to the United States to work at Xerox Corporation in Rochester, NY. His impressive career spanned working with the Atomic Energy Authority in Scotland to top-secret intelligence status with Ford Aerospace and Lockheed Martin in both Colorado Springs and abroad, in England and Germany.

Following retirement in 1993, he was an active volunteer, working with the Fire and Emergency Services in Monument, CO and Phoenix, AZ. and more recently spent time working with rescue animals.

Left behind to cherish his memory are; his wife Alice of fifty four years, children, Sandra (Michael), Grant (Heidi) and Ross (Tessie), and his precious six grandchildren, Caleb, Levi, Alexa, Triston, Liam and Ethan.

A Celebration of his wonderful life will be held on Saturday March 29th at 11 AM with reception to follow, at Desert Mission Methodist Church, 7373 E. Dixileta Dr., Scottsdale, AZ 85266

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to honor his love of animals can be sent to Foothills Animal Rescue, 23030 N Pima Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85255
