October 11, 1921- January 15, 1997 Daddy, Because I never had the chance to say it...Thanks for always protecting me so mightily throughout your days on earth. I'd give up so much today, even as a grown woman, to sit on my Daddy's lap again to feel the safety I once felt as your little girl. Sometimes, life without you seems to stand still, but other times I feel you're the breeze in my swiftly moving days. Today you'd tell me to slow down and enjoy this journey of life, you are well and there waiting for me when it is my turn. For now, it's your turn to rest, see the sights, and smell the cool salty air of the bay as you overlook the Golden Gate. A taste of its serenity and peace I hope it offers you. I love you.
