James Spry Memoriam

James Wrathall Spry, Jr., 86, passed away July 23, 2012 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. James was born September 18, 1926 in Manila, Philippines. He graduated from West Point, transferred to the Air Force and flew as a fighter pilot in Korea. He then finished his working career as a Real Estate Broker in Lake Arrowhead, California. Jim lived the last twelve years with Marve Beckett (Mariolive Zavislan) in Colorado Springs. Jim was very proud of his family. He had tears in his eyes when his grandson asked if he could name Jim's great-grandson, James Wrathall Spry, V. Jim is survived by his sons, James and William; daughter, Keven Lively; sister, Patricia Newkirk (Dr. George); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Ivy, Laura, Whyatt, Caroline, and James.
