Jeanette Zint Obituary
She was the wife of Lt. Colonel William (Bill) Zint Jr., who were both residents of Colorado Springs until 2011. Born as Jeanette Gail Erickson on November 6th, 1939, Jean was an English teacher in the Denver Public School System when she married Bill, then a pilot in the Air Force, in 1963. Jean traveled with Bill and raised four children while stationed in locations across the continental US, then to Thailand and Hawaii before moving to Mesa, AZ and Colorado Springs, CO for over twenty years years. Jean and Bill celebrated 50 years of marriage this past August.
In addition to her husband Bill, Jean is survived by four children: Bill Zint III, of Phoenix, AZ; Todd Zint, of Austin, TX; Sharon Marts, of Dublin, CA; and Steve Zint of Woodland Hills, CA, a niece and 2 nephews in Houston, TX. She also is survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Jeanne Taylor Parkinsons Support Group in Colorado Springs.
The mortuary used is Wilson and Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon. A memorial service will be on 11/29/13 at 10:30a.m., St. Raymonds Church in Dublin, CA.

As a fellow fraternity member of the Knights of Columbus here in Colorado Springs, CO I had the pleasure of getting to know Bill & Jean Zint during their residence in the State. In addition, shortly before they moved to California in 2011, I had the joy & blessing as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion of bringing the Eucharist to both Bill and Jean while they lived at McKenzie Place Senior Living Residence. May Jean now rest with the angels with the peace of the Lord, and may Bill & his family experience the Lord's comfort and consolation at this time.
