I can not believe what I'm seeing about Jeanne. Totally in shock. I had the pleasure of getting to know Jeanne while she was in her perio residency at UNC. I was in dental school and honestly, not much of a perio fan. After meeting her though I learned so much about perio from her. She was one of the most pleasant and fun people to be around and my wife and I ultimately developed a friendship with her and her husband. I'm sure that her children are beautiful inside and out. We periodically touched base with each other which is exactly what I was reaching out to do when all this news flashed up on my screen. I already miss her and am certain that her patients feel an incredible void.

Jeanne and I have been in a business owner peer-advisory group for 12 years where we try to help each other master business while maintaining balance. For ten years we were members. For the last two, I have the honor chairing our Executive Legacy peer group. In 2013, I was asked to lead a team of three to focus on a business issue Jeanne wanted to resolve. To prepare, Tuesday evening, May 21, 2013, Jeanne and I [Tom Lachocki] had dinner at Springs Orleans to understand her long-term goal.
During dinner, I asked her this hypothetical question, “what would you want etched on your gravestone?” Or, “How do you want to be remembered?” After some wine and conversation, she said, “Great Mother, Talented Surgeon, a Connector.”
Relative to motherhood, in 12 years of monthly meetings, there was not one where she did not mention the adventures and progress of Killian and Decker. She is so proud of you both.
Relative to her being a talented surgeon, she was a little more than that. Yes, her reputation and skill is well known. But more, she organized five study groups with dentists, specialists and surgeons. In a way, she was not only a talented surgeon, she helped others become better too. That legacy stretched across the front range.
There were so many times when someone in our peer-group needed a referral to a oral surgeon, an MD, and Jeanne would give us a name and number. We only need look around the room to know how she connected others.
A GREAT MOTHER, A TALENTED SURGEON, A CONNECTOR. That’s how Jeanne will be etched in my memory. Mission accomplished. Rest in peace, Jeanne.

As a long time patient of Dr. Salcetti, I will miss her dearly. Besides being a professional and excellant doctor, she always gave out positive energy, inspiration and unending care and understanding to her patients...as if we were "family". Sincerest condolences to the family, especially to her children whom she spoke often of with love in her heart.

From a 1000 miles away I just found this tragic news. I can only say that the beautiful butterfly I saw today was Dr. Salcetti’s spirit resting over this anxious earth. Peace and joy.

As Dr Salcetti's patients, Elinor and I are so sad to hear of her death. All too soon.
We have been patients of her's for over 10 years and always appreciated her care, including her evening phone calls to check on our well being.
The cheerfulness and competence of her staff was always appreciated.
We will miss her dental skills, friendliness and compassion.

Dr. Salcetti was a wonderful dental surgeon. I have been a long time patient of her and she has never let me down. After each surgery every time an old root canal failed, she would call to check up on how I was feeling.
She had a joyous spirit and integrity.
I am saddened by her passing and her family, friends and patients are in my prayers.
May God give comfort to her family and help them through this difficult time.
