Jesus Manuel Garcia, age 81, sadly passed away on May 13, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on December 2, 1941 to father Maximo Garcia and mother Dolores (Mendoza) Garcia in Laredo, Texas. Jesus bravely and proudly served his country by joining the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant after 20 plus years of service. After retiring from the military Jesus performed an additional 18 years of outstanding federal service at the Headquarters Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Preceding Jesus in death are his parents Maximo Garcia and Dolores Garcia and son Jon Paul Garcia. Those left behind to cherish Jesus' memory are loving wife Kong Cha Garcia, his three sons from his previous marriage; Jesus Garcia Jr., Richard Garcia and Michael Garcia as well as numerous extended family and friends. A viewing will be held at St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church 4515 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Colorado Springs, Colorado on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service immediately following. A committal service at Pikes Peak National Cemetery with full United States Air Force Honors will be at 1:00PM Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
