John Napier Obituary

December 2, 1926 - November 17, 2008
Born in Roda, Virginia. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Aleutian Islands Campaign. John was a police officer in Tennessee, an actor of both stage and screen, and a senior financial executive for a major corporation. John attended New Life Church and was a Trustee there for 15 years. He was an election judge for El Paso county for 10 years. He was a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and Toastmasters Club. He is survived by his wife, Mary Machin Napier; son, Sandy Napier; daughters, Anne Grant-Tenorio and Allison Whitaker; 9 grand-children and 4 great-grandchildren, and was Papaw John to many. The Internment will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the World Prayer Center on the New Life Church Campus. Contributions in memorium of John Napier can be made to: Alpha Relief, 2175 North Academy Circle, Ste 101, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Papaw, we will miss your wisdom, your smile, and your hugs.
