John died unexpectedly on March 20 in Colo. Sprgs. He graduated high school from Fountain Valley School and obtained his MFA from American University in Wash. D.C.
A talented artist, he dedicated much of his life to abstract painting and print making.
He will be dearly missed by his son Andrew and partner of 19 years, Beate White, cousins Barbara Roby (husband David) of N.H. and Terrence Odlin of Wash. D.C.

Was his father named Walter Odlin and perhaps his mother Margaret Odlin? His father was in the US Army and a prisoner in WWII held by the Japanese. His mother was a Major in the US Army. Anyone who knew him and who his parents were I would appreciate there confirming this information.
