Johnnie Edmond Obituary
He left many who love and miss him dearly including his wife Shirley, children Kristi and Jonathan Edmond, Vernon, Gregory and Tanya Calvin, two sisters Lillier(Norman)Ellis, Ruby "Candy" Overton, brothers Lonnie Hoyt and Khalid Ibrahim, 9 grandchildren and a host of relatives.
He was a Vietnam Vet, retiring as Senior Master Sergeant after serving 26 years in the United States Air Force. We will celebrate his life knowing that he is now in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 2:00pm at Crocker Funeral Home Suffolk, VA

My favorite first cousin, I have so many good memories of all the good times we had. How no matter where you were in the world while in the USAF and after you retired, you would come and find me. You always made me feel I had family after Mother passed away in 1969 when I was just 15 and I will always remember that. I love you dear cousin and now you've been reunited with Aunt Ruth and our Grandparents and in your new body, safe in the arms of Our Savior Jesus Christ!
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:3 KJV
