Julie Tureson Obituary
Being an Army BRAT and an Army Wife, she traveled extensively but called Colorado Springs her home. Some of the more exotic places Julie lived include Okinawa, Japan, the Rhine River Valley, Germany, and Oahu, Hawaii.
She was very artistic, indulging in drawing, painting, photography and several other mediums. Julie earned an Associate's Degree in Architectural Design, a Personal Trainer Certificate, and was an avid reader across all genres. Despite these accomplishments and many others, her children were her world; she dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her four children: Jason, Devin, Lana, and Ethen; her parents: Richard and Donna Root; and her siblings: Michael, Jessica, April, and Elizabeth.
A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 325 Putnam Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80911.
