I miss you so much Kimber. You brought sunshine to whatever gloomy day we went through. Just today I was showering a picture of you, Kristen S. and myself to a dear friend (whom you would have loved and she'd have loved you) and she asked me..."who is that beautiful blond?" We'd lost so many years but reconnected before you left us. I miss you so much. I hope you found peace. My beautiful friend, you are missed!

very difficult to think many years have passed already. Parents, family and friends that loved her will never forget. The circle of life is sometimes smaller than others but always touching and linking others. A vibrant soul that always shines.

My thoughts are prayers to out to the children and family of Kimberly. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I never met Kimberly but heard so much about her from Mar Porter (my dear friend). My heart goes out to Al and Mar, to Kimberly's mother, her children, and her siblings. "What the caterpillar THINKS is the END of life, the butterfly KNOWS is the BEGINNING". (From Dessie Taylor's barn.) May you all find comfort in knowing there is eternal life.

50 plus years of being included in a family, Grandparents, Parents so many grieving thoughts but so many more positive infusions of life with the grand beam of light. From a humble efficiency apartment at the bottom of the school hill, to two beautiful golden haired young ladies with Golden dogs to protect them in the big house on the hill...words escape me, a kindred light has been extinquished as a blinding star is lit. My heartfelt condolences to the family and for the strength of the young men in her life to make her proud. So much to say, too few words....God Speed, your work here is accomplished. Manitou and miles still equals family no matter the distance.

We have lost a brilliantly glowing heart and spirit. Her warmth and compassion, her effervescence and kindness will be sorely missed. She has remained one of my dearest friends for 35 years. My condolences to Kim's family. Kim was a remarkable woman who fills my high school memories. Playing volleyball with her and being in Awe of her athletic abilities and beauty! She was beautiful inside and out.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our friend Kim... Like all of the people that have commented so far I also have cherished memories of that giant (at least when she was standing next to me) girl. I had lucky enough to be able to stay in touch with Kim over the years and now will even more closely hold on to those memories. To Tammy, Al,Kay, and her sons- Kim was a GREAT girl and we all feel so sad for your loss.

I met Kim only one time, and it was thirty years ago. She was so lovely, so special, I remember it as if it were yesterday. Kim is admired and loved by so many; she truly is a beautiful light in everyone's heart.

I am extremely saddened to hear of Kim's death. She and I shared some special times together both during and after our high school days. Kim was always there with a warm smile, comforting hug and heartfelt words. Kim's talents, grace and poise throughout her life were truly a gift for all of us to admire and appreciate. Even though I moved away from the Manitou Springs area, Kim has always been in my most cherished memories of my time at Manitou. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Psalm 23). Thank you Kim for being a part of my life...I am a better person for having known you and “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” (Phillipians 1:3). To Kim's family and friends…you are all in my family's thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I have only known Kimberly for a short time, through a real estate transaction. She was so professional, yet warm & caring. We lost our home in the fire & she was very concerned for us. Her beautiful spirit will be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with all her loving family.

I still can not understand this. I am so very glad that I got to know Kimberly as a friend. We enjoyed going out to lunch together and always having a great time. I was to be a junior in the fall @ MSHS and in one Mr. Porter's history classes (World or American - I can't recall), the year Kimberly was born. That was a big deal to the students! Over the next 2 yrs., I would catch a glimpse of her @ the school, @ a game or just visiting her Daddy.....I am so sorry and so sad to hear of her passing....my last clear memory is of her in her Daddy's arms ~

To the family and friends of Kim. I am so heartbroken over her death. Although the miles had separated us for many years we were able to reconnect on occasion and it was always wonderful seeing and talking to her. We just corresponded a few days ago and as usual she was positive and upbeat. I simply cannot believe she is gone. Kim (Bo) was a wonderful friend and someone who I knew literally since I was born. It is hard to let go but I take comfort in that you are at peace. My heartfelt condolences to the families--especially Big Al, Kay, and Tammy and to Kim's children. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
