I was Kimberly's hair stylist for many years (10+). Kimberly was such a beautiful, gentle soul. She was so kind and patient with me as I began to experience the crazy life of being a mom. We shared many funny and many tearful stories. I will never forget Kimberly and what she's meant to me for so many years. Truly a special one, that Kimberly!
My thoughts and love to all the family.

What an exquisite, shining angel God called up to radiate amongst His most beautiful souls! I remember Kim as one of those rare quiet people, who didn't have a mean thought in her mind, and so, naturally, unbelievably pretty! I'm so sorry she suffered at the end of her life here. I hope her family, though missing her now so painfully, will find some peace knowing she is out of pain and shining down watching with joy, waiting to see you all again.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Thompson Family. Kim has been a friend to me and my family since her birth. We grew up together and even though the Thompson family moved away while we were all still children we remained friends. Visits with each others and families, countless phone calls and letters and finally Facebook our friendship has endured all these years. My sister LouAnn, brother Eddie, Kim, Leslie and Bobby still connected. I will truly miss Kim for me it is so hard to believe she is no longer with us. Her sweet smile and laugh, her quiet way but still that deep knowledge of who we really are something that comes with friendship over the years. I love you, miss you and you will remain forever in my heart. Kim we will laugh again one day.... Terry

Kim ~ Our first goodbyes were said when we were just eight years old, more than fifty years ago. Since then it seems like we have spent more times crying and saying goodbye to each other than anything else. Now we are saying our goodbyes once again with our hearts breaking and our tears flowing but this time it is different. For this is the last time in which we will part ways filled with tearful goodbyes, looking back at each other, waving and wondering if and when we will ever see each other again. This is our last and final goodbye my dear, sweet Kim for there will be no more of them for us. The next time we meet Kim it will be filled with nothing but hello's and I shall wait patiently yet look eagerly towards that day when we will once again be together for all eternity. Be well now Kim for it is with a heavy and broken heart that I bid you our final goodbye. I love you Kim and you have and will always be forever in my heart ~ LuLuBelle ~ LouAnn

So sad to hear of Kim's passing. My mom and I worked with her at the Falcon Walmart. Kim was always pleasant and had a smile for everyone. Cherish the memories.

EVERY time I enter a WalMart I think of Kim! I remember seeing her @ the 8th St. store and asking her if she went to Manitou and if her name was Kim! She was in my brother's class. Such a sweet lady, always with a ready smile! I didn't know she was ill....Prayers, healing thoughts and peace to her family and friends for their great loss. I am SO deeply sorry ~

Continue to be shocked that you are gone. Never expected after you had overcome so much. Loved reconnecting with you on Facebook and found we had much in common. We often shared our favorite music or what was affecting us at any given time. Couldn't wait to hear your predictions on the many music talent shows we both watched faithfully.
