Well Mom, I am enjoying the fireplace on a snowy morning in Albuquerque. Your pink couch was next to the fireplace at home so you could enjoy looking at the fire. I have enjoyed scanning in photos and seeing you so vibrant and surrounded by family. A family of 5 must have been a challenge. You were the glue for the family after Dad died many years ago. You kept the family together by bringing us home for holidays during our busy lifes. Thanks for raising Brenda, Carol and me throughout the world as Dad traveled in the Air Force. You kept us secure in new and unknown worlds. We will continue the tradition of getting family together. We will miss you.

Thank you to all our family and friends that have responded. It's a great time to remember fun, nice, warm times. Keep Mom, Grandma, Aunt, neighbor, friend, in your thoughts and allow those memories to warm your hearts. She was gracious when we visited her, saying, I was just thinking about you:-) and then thanking us for coming. As you remember stories, events, please come back and post them, they keep our hearts pounding:-) I seem to be missing her more and more every day...Love you Mom, thanks for the life and memories...B

We'll be missing you dearly Grandma. Who will be here to tell us to keep our elbows off the table and not take such big bites! I loved your sense of style, class and appreciation of the arts. I remember staying up late reading with you in all hours of the night, and watching "pretty things" on the television. I enjoyed all our family gatherings, formal dinners, and adventures we all shared throughout the years. You showed me what a real "lady" is and I will always remember that. Love you!
